LIVING IN GOD'S ORDER
God is a god of ORDER. Throughout His Word, He lets us know of His Divine Order. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. He created the world, the earth before he created man that man may have residence and provision for life. He created the man and then the woman to establish order in the family. Woman is not second to man but in the marital relationship she is to be submissive to her husband because of God's order. "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body." Notice it said SAVIOR not Abuser, not Humiliator but Savior. Ephesians 5:22-23. This is God's Divine Order. Trust me ladies, there is power in submission. When Christ died on the cross He could have called 10 thousand angels, but instead he decided to submit to death only to rise with all power in heaven and in earth in His hands. Submission is power!
In the 4th chapter of Ephesians, God establishes order in the church. "And he gave some, apostles, and some prophets; and some, evangelists: and some, pastors and teachers: For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." If you are an usher, you are out of order telling the Minister of Music what songs to play during worship service. If you are a choir member, you are out of order telling the Chairman of the Deacon Board his duties. If you are an appointed deacon, you are out of order telling the pastor how run the church. God is a god of order. Orders come down they don't go up. Where there are a lot of chiefs and few Indians, there will be a Pow Wow!
God places Himself above all things. How could you possibly know more than your Creator? After this manner therefore pray ye: "Our Father…." First thing acknowledge the Father; order. When making a decision, God said in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path; order. When pursuing your goals, God said, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you; order. You want to be successful, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in I mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven an pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. ORDER! And the order is: God first.
