TRANSFORMED BY THE POWER OF GOD INTO
A WOMAN WALKING IN THE LIGHT

The word translate in the Greek is the word methistemi. It denotes a change of place or to remove to transfer. The word transform in the Greek is metamorphoo. It means a change in condition. We use the word metamorphosis which is a complete change from one state of being into another. The same material is used, but a different outcome. In Jeremiah 18 the potter made a vessel of clay and it was marred. So he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. In other words he put it back on the wheel and used that same messed up material and made it another. Metamorphosis is when you go in one way and you come out another.

The caterpillar is one of the best examples of metamorphosis. It starts life out as a worm. In the Old Testament the caterpillar is mentioned with the destructive cankerworm. The name caterpillar means 'to devour'. Though small in size, it can be a very destructive creature ruining plant life and vegetation. This all takes place before transformation. Before Saul became Paul, his job was to annihilate the Christians. Before you became saved, before you were transformed, it was your job to talk about the pastor and the people at the church. The enemy had a job for you. Some people began their journey in life as caterpillars; not understanding the work of the Kingdom, but trying to destroy it. There is a God. God said I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar. The years that you wasted talking against God's program, God is merciful enough to restore. If you will not conform to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, God said I will restore the years. You won't look 10 years younger, but you will feel like it.

Caterpillars crawl on the ground or on plants that are low to the ground. God can lift you up out of the bottom. God can take you out of the mulk and miry and place you among kings and queens. If you have ever read the first chapter of the gospel according to Matthew, you saw that there is a list of prominent men of the Bible: David, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Boaz, Obed, Jesse, Solomon and so on. In between the hierarchy there are written names of women who were of bad reputations or from lowly places: Thamar, Rahab the harlot, Ruth the Moabite, Bathsheba the adulteress wife of Urias, but God counted them worthy to be placed among the notables in the genealogy of Jesus. If you are willing to transformed, he will put you with the upper echelon!

"He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings. And He had put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it and fear, and shoo tu8rst in the Lord." Thou Satan should buffet, though trials may come. Le this blessed assurance control. That Christ has regarded my helpless estate and has shed His own blood for my soul.

The caterpillar is shielded in a cocoon until it is the right time for it to emerge. While it is in cocoon, God is nurturing it, forming the wings, adding the color and developing the flight plan. If you break the cocoon before it is ready you interrupt the process and caterpillar dies. Growing in God is a process. God has some of us yet in the cocoon. These are those who are struggling, but are better off left alone, so that God can do his work. Leave them in the cocoon until they can develop. You give them the Word and just pray. Don't try to change them. The Holy Ghost will make the change. You just catch the fish - the Holy Ghost will clean them. When it is time, God will release them and finish product will be greater then the initial. What you will get is a butterfly worthy to behold. You interrupt God's plan and you will have to live with the monster you created.

The sad part about this is that some of us are our worst enemy. We will die caterpillars. Some people will never reach their potential. They will never complete the metamorphosis. They will never transform or translate into what God has desired them to be. They struggle inside the cocoon. They try to fight the devil with flesh and blood rather than submitting unto God and resisting the devil that he may flee. Let God fight your battles, you just rest in Him inside the cocoon. You don't have to counteract everything that is done against or said about you. God id Omniscient and Omnipresent, He know and sees all. He got you covered. Trust Him. Believe Him. Stagger not at the promises of God. I refuse to die a caterpillar.
